- Numerous natural streams (nullahs) require extensive diversion and training works to protect infrastructure, especially during the monsoon season.
- Foundations and piers in hydraulic zones are at risk of erosion and settlement during heavy rainfall, requiring durable construction solutions and methods.
- Risk of Damages and Rework Due to Extreme Events of Heavy Rainfall and Wind Storms During Construction is High
